Hi,
Another route to be aware of could be a platform like
Medium<https://medium.com/about/9e53ca408c48>,
created by Evan Williams of Blogger and Twitter. The platform's design aims
to serve longer-form storytelling and journalism for the digital medium,
emphasising the on-screen reading and writing *experience*. It jettisons
some of the conventions we're used to seeing online for magazine, book and
newspaper 'content', which have really only been adopted because that's
what worked offline.
I recently came across it as part of some work on writing platforms and
this interesting article on the evolution of digital
publishing<http://craigmod.com/journal/subcompact_publishing/>by Craig
Mod.
