Hi Sue
I have recently been collecting usage stats from Google Analytics on List Views and Item Views and I get to this through Behaviours, Site Content, Content Drilldown, then select either Lists (for page views on the main list page) or Items (for page views for individual items). Alternative choices from Content Drilldown are Modules and Departments as these are nodes in the Sussex Aspire Hierarchy. If you have Subjects and Modules then I think these should be there when you log into Google Analytics.
Although Google Analytics can provide an overall view of usage across lists, we have been exporting this data to Excel and manually adding additional data from Aspire, such as number of students on the module, the department and number of items on a list with the aim of demonstrating the value of online reading lists. Ideally we would like to get this data from within Aspire Reports and have recently added a new idea to the Ideas Forum for Reporting Functionality Improvements. We are hoping that others may be interested in voting for a new Report on usage across all lists -
