RESOURCE DISCOVERY AND ACCESS ASSISTANT

Salary: £17,923 - £20,070
Working in the University Library, as part of the Resource Discovery and Access team in Content Services, you will assist with the management, maintenance and development of the Library's online services and digital platform. This includes its set of resource discovery tools that make up the NORA service, the University Library website and its authentication services.
You will assist with and contribute to the enhancement and development of innovative web-based services that address user needs and enhance the Library's digital platform. You will work with colleagues in the Learning Support team and the Ask4Help service to ensure that service support is integrated. You will also assist with the investigation and resolution of queries in relation to access to the Library's discovery, website and authentication services on behalf of students and staff as well as Library colleagues.
You will have the ability to work with a variety of systems, software and web services as well as good communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
