Dear experts,
I am running a resting state analysis and trying to figure out if the temporal derivative, temporal filtering and orthogonalise options should be selected or not in my GLM setup.
When I am regressing the white matter and CSF timeseries out of my data I am stuck with the decision of whether or not to select these options for my ROI and my two nuisance regressors.
I have ran a group analysis with only orthogonalise selected as I was under the assumption that the temporal filter was taken care of in previous steps and the temporal derivative only seems to make sense if I used tasks. However this has not given me good results.
My question is, when I am setting up my GLM for resting state data, which of these options should I select and why?
Would somebody help me shed light on this matter.
Many thanks,
Kris
