***APOLOGIES FOR CROSS POSTING***

You're invited to join us at our forthcoming Open Access seminar: Open Access and Society: Impact and Engagement. Hosted by Taylor & Francis in association with ALPSP and the Academy of Social Sciences, the event will review progress on the Open Access ‘journey’. As well as addressing policies in the UK and Europe, sessions will consider the twin themes of research impact and public engagement in an Open Access context.

For an overview of the seminar we recently held in London: https://storify.com/TandF/discussing-researcher-impact-and-public-engagement.

Brussels Seminar
Tuesday 17th June 2014, 10:30 am
Bloom Hotel, Brussels

The event is free to attend, and will feature contributions from a collection of different speakers with extensive experience within the publishing industry, as well as representatives from UK and European research funders. There will also be a buffet lunch and a drinks reception. Read the draft agenda here (http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/pdf/OA-and-Society-seminar.pdf).

There are a limited number of spaces so register your interest in attending now (http://tandf.msgfocus.com/k/Tandf/open_access_and_society_impact_and_engagement_brussels).

This promises to be an un-missable event for any institution engaging with open access publishing, and we really hope that you'll be able to join us. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Alex Smith, Publishing Editor ([log in to unmask]).

Best wishes,

Elaine Devine, Communications Manager
Taylor & Francis
