ASEN (the Association for the Study of Ethnicity and Nationalism) is looking for PhD students based in London to be ASEN's Co-Chairs for 2014-15.
The Co-Chairs of the Association work closely with the Executive Committee in managing a diverse range of activities within this research association and academic network (e.g. annual conference, seminar series, newsletter, partnerships, membership). In addition the Co-Chairs sit on the Editorial Teams of ASEN’s two leading scholarly journals: Nations and Nationalism and Studies in Ethnicity and Nationalism.
The Chair’s duties generally encompass 7 hours per week. The position is unpaid but chairs do receive an honorarium of £250 at the end of the post.
