Register for the East Asian Screen Studies Symposium, KCL, 16th May

Dear List Members:

You are invited to register for a free one-day symposium on East Asian Screen Studies at King’s College, London on the 16th May. As you can see below we have a great line up of panels, a keynote by Prof. Julian Stringer of the University of Nottingham, and a closing roundtable on The Future of East Asian Film in the UK.

Attendance is free, but places are limited and advance registration is required. For further information or to book a place, please contact us at [log in to unmask]

The EASS Symposium is a partner organisation of the Chinese Visual Festival, which is offering a screening of animated shorts at 7pm on Friday 16th in the Safra Lecture Theatre at KCL. This event is free to attend for King’s staff/students. Concessionary rates are provided for staff/students of other academic institutions, and group discounts are also available. In addition, there will be a series of CVF events taking place over the weekend for delegates remaining in London. For schedule and further information, visit www.chinesevisualfestival.org. King’s staff/students get in free and there are student/staff concession rates for members of other academic institutions to CVF events.
