Has anyone made or adapted a SCATIR switch? I'm thinking of of taking a regular SCATIR sensor and house it in rubber tubing instead of the Gooseneck type tubing it comes with but wondering if I'm going to break anything! My guess is I will as the phototransistor needs to be in just the right location for the axis of the IR source.. which could be tricky to get right. Before I get out my tools I thought it would be wise to ask about!
Many thanks
Will
