The University of Stirling Archives has received funding from the Wellcome Trust’s Research Resources in Medical Humanities Fund for a project to conserve and catalogue the archives of the Royal Scottish National Institution, Larbert, a pioneering children’s hospital which opened in 1862.
We are seeking a qualified Archivist to catalogue the collection using CALM for Archives. Candidates should have a postgraduate qualification in archives studies, or equivalent, and professional experience of working as an archivist.
We are also seeking a qualified Conservator to manage the repair and conservation of the collection. Candidates should have a postgraduate qualification in conservation, or equivalent, and professional experience of working with archive material.
