The Scottish and Northumbrian Academic Statisticians Meeting 2014

The Scottish and Northumbrian Academic Statisticians Meeting 2014 will
be hosted by the University of Edinburgh, School of Mathematics and
Biomathematics & Statistics Scotland, at the University of Edinburgh´s
Pollock Halls on May 30th. This year's speakers are
1. Alan Gelfand, (Duke University)
Title: "Bayesian Analysis of Spatial Point Patterns"
2. Alastair Young (Imperial College)
Title: "Effective Inference in the Presence of Nuisance Parameters"
3. Chris Glasbey (Biomathematics and Statistics Scotland)
Title: "Dynamic programming versus graph cut algorithms for phenotyping
by image analysis"
The meeting will start at 11am (preceded by tea and coffee at 10:30am)
and will run until 5pm. The programme and the abstracts are available

Standard registration fee £40 (£25 for students) applies until the 19th
of May 2014. From the 20th of May, the late registration fee of £45 (£30
for students) will apply. Please register sooner than later for catering
and planning purposes.
