Are you a self-starter, sociable, and numerate? Would you like to develop a new network and make a difference to planners in higher education?
The Higher Education Strategic Planners Association (HESPA) is the representative body for higher education planning staff in the UK. Newly established as a subscription member organisation under the umbrella of Professional HE Services, HESPA’s aim is to provide high quality strategic support, networking and training opportunities for staff in its member institutions. Take a look at our website and see the start we’ve made.
If you can help HESPA deliver its objectives and continue to improve and professionalise the services it provides, we would like to hear from you. Working alongside our committed and enthusiastic 16-member Executive, and in collaboration with the existing small but well-established PHES team, you will make a critical contribution to a range of HESPA activities, events and advocacy/policy work. We need someone with an aptitude for networking and building relationships of trust, good analytical skills, who is confident working with staff at all levels and in all parts of the HE and supporting sectors, and is able to influence others. You will understand the importance of sourcing, analysing and disseminating information, and will demonstrate enthusiasm, personal responsibility and initiative.
The 0.5FTE post is based in Loughborough, although home-working is possible. The salary offered is in the range £37,756-£46,400 (pro rata) depending on experience. The company offers a generous Defined Contribution retirement benefit scheme through Friends Life.
