Hi,
There are only two relevant python scripts that might be called here: fsl_abspath and imglob.
If you cannot get your local installation of python to work, then try putting the main system python earlier in your PATH variable, or explicitly modify these scripts to call a different version of python (i.e. your system installed python). These scripts only require very basic modules, so you don't need anything more than the most basic version of python to run them.
Hopefully this will fix the problem, but if not let us know.
