Hi FSL experts:
I've run third-level analyses in FEAT and want to display mean time-courses for each group by condition. Is there a simple way of extracting this information without going all the way back to the first-level data?
If you have to go back to the first-level data, are the steps below the correct ones? They seem like a lot of work for a simple job, but I don't see how it can be done with featquery, fslview, or other tools. Also I'm unsure about the need for de-meaning here. Any help would be welcome.
1. Create ROI from level-3 analysis, using fslmaths on the cluster_mask_zstat-N file
2. For each subject in the group, get mean response to condition of interest
- transform the ROI into the subject's space by:
- using convert_xfm get the inverse of the subject's example_func2standard.mat
- using FLIRT to apply the inverted transformation matrix to the ROI
- For each preprocessed bold (filtered_func_data) for this subject
-extract the mean time-series using fslmeants & the ROI mask
- isolate the TR's that belong to the condition of interest & average across them (within BOLD)
-Average the condition-specific time-series (across BOLDs)
3. Average across the group members to get mean group response.
Thanks very much for your help.
