Dear UTSG colleague,
As you may be aware, we at the Transport Studies Unit at Oxford University are running our second annual series of professional short courses. The second course in the programme is this June (24th - 27th) entitled "Governance, Policy and Delivery" as part of the Global Challenges in Transport Leadership Programme (please see http://www.tsu.ox.ac.uk/course/).
On the advice of Professor David Banister I am writing to inform you that we are able to offer one FREE non-residential place on this course to a UK-based participant. Is there a high calibre PhD/early- to mid-career professional in your group who may benefit from this opportunity?
Normally we charge £3500 for the 4 day intensive course but we are offering the course including all materials, plus lunch, refreshments and the first night's networking dinner for free. The delegate would have to cover their own travel and accommodation (we can however organise accommodation in Kellogg College, Oxford for £87 per person per night and there are 2 optional dinners, each night for £25). The only commitment we need is that they MUST attend all four days.
This is a first come, first served opportunity but I need a guarantee that you are 100% committed by 5pm Friday 9th May. Please confirm attendance for all 4 days and the first night's dinner (please state dietary requirements), also whether accommodation would be required.
I look forward to hearing from you,
With best wishes,
Lucy Mahoney
