I am interested in finding out about other libraries' use of mobile shelving / rolling stacks that are accessible to library users (rather than in staff only areas). In particular:
1 - What kinds of materials do you keep in your rolling stacks? And are those materials that are frequently in demand by users or are they less well used materials?
2 - How do library users respond to using the rolling stacks: do collections stored in them tend to get overlooked? are users nervous of moving the shelves or do they use them quite happily?
Many thanks,
