Hello Tom,
We had a visit recently from a representative of another company who also market a business collection and it was from her that we learned that the Economist titles had been pulled from EBSCO Business Source. It was a surprise to us. We'll have to consider this when we launch into yet another resources review in the summer.

Subject: [lis-e-resources] Economist & Economist Intelligence Unit content in EBSCO Business Source Complete
Good afternoon everyone,
We've just had an email from The Economist Group, telling us that we 'may be aware that all content from The Economist Group... has been removed from Ebsco Business Source databases', and asking if we'd like to meet up to discuss how we can continue to get access. It came as a surprise to me (although there's every chance that there was an announcement which I inadvertently deleted). I just tried to access a random title (Financial Services Industry Report: Australia), and then a few other titles of that ilk, via our catalogue got the following error message:
Error in HttpHandler
To begin a new session, please login again<http://search.ebscohost.com>.
Clicking 'login again' just takes me to EBSCO homepage.
Other non-Economist Group content in Business Source Complete seems to be working fine. Can I ask:
a. Are any of you good people out there of aware of this change (and if so, when/how were you told - I'd like to see if I can track down the email I clearly didn't read!)?
b. Are you doing anything about it?
Many thanks,
Tom
