Dear all,
I hope you all are well, I was wondering if people were still meeting and 'community activist-being' in Birmingham, it's been a while since I have connected with anyone from this circle in Birmingham, and having moved back in March I'm missing the community psychology conversation. Particularly as I became quite attached to the London based community psychology group and the various activities and meetings that were organised! It'd be great to hear what has been happening in the West Midlands.
I also know that there have been a couple of posts regarding working in an acute setting, with some valuable contributions. I was wondering what people's thoughts were about attempting to develop community psychology 'principles' in a prison setting. I'm aware that it would be a challenge, however a prison being a community in itself, I (perhaps naively) imagine there may be some scope.
Best wishes
Abdullah
