Dear all,
It's been a very long time since I made a posting to the [log in to unmask] list. I am hopeful that someone can help me out with the following request.
In reference to the 2008 report by Mott MacDonald on "External Review of Sewer Flooding Risk Registers" prepared for the Water Services Regulatory Authority (see https://www.ofwat.gov.uk/sustainability/sustainabledev/rpt_com_mottmacsewfld.pdf) can anyone tell me if there has been any further towards
a) the development of a more consistent approach for the water companies to define what constitutes a "severe" rainfall event and
b) any further work to consider what the implications of climate change will have on this definition (and consequently) the DG5 registers of properties at risk from flooding
See page 4-7 for the section of the report that refers to this.
best regards,
Jonathan
