Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to announce that the latest issue of Transfers - Interdisciplinary Journal of Mobility Studies has been published by Berghahn Journals. Four out of six articles in this issue consider the relationship between history and contemporary mobility problems. In the remaining articles, Saurabh Arora engages with the history of the moral and physical "containment" of the so-called "criminal tribes" in colonial India while Nicholas Balaisis examines the rhetoric of mobility in the 1960s around Cuban mobile cinema.
The remainder of the issue is filled with the regular sections: ideas in motion, book, art, film and museum reviews.
