Dear colleagues,
The deadline to be considered for an oral presentation at the Atomic and Molecular Interactions GRS is quickly approaching -- April 12th!
The Atomic and Molecular Interactions Gordon Research Seminar for graduate students and post-doctoral research associates on July 12-13 is an excellent opportunity for young researchers to be introduced to key topics, give presentations (either oral or poster), and interact with key scientists regarding career questions. This seminar takes place prior to the associated Gordon Research Conference and we encourage grad students and post docs to apply for both seminar and conference (these are separate applications).
We have an excellent program lined up: Professor Dan Neumark (University of California, Berkeley) will give our keynote address and join Professor Sharon Hammes-Schiffer (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), Dr. Jaime Stearns (Air Force Research Laboratory), and Dr. Noah Goldberg (Agilent Technologies) in a mentorship panel discussion, entitled “Beyond Graduate School: Standing Out as a Scientist.”
More information for the GRS can be found at: http://www.grc.org/programs.aspx?year=2014&program=grs_atomic.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Thank you,
Julia H. Lehman (Chair, GRS)
Bernadette Broderick (Vice-Chair, GRS)
