INDUSTRIAL CHALLENGE

We are pleased to announce the 2014 Industrial Challenge.
Get ready to enter the challenge and to submit the best time
series prediction in a defying scenario.
Goal
This competition is accomplished with a partner from industry who
is responsible for all environmental concerns relevant to water,
in particular drinking water treatment and wastewater treatment.
The Aggerverband operates 32 sewage treatment plants purifying
the wastewater of about 350,000 inhabitants.
Accordingly the goal of this challenge is to develop
accurate and efficient forecasting methods and to apply them to
real-world water and environmental time series data.

Presentation
Finalists selected by the jury will be invited to present their
submission at the competition session, held during the GECCO
conference. The winner of the competition will be announced at
the SIGEVO meeting ceremony, on July 16, 2014. Therefore, each
participant has to be registered at GECCO 2014.

All submissions should be sent via the submission form on the
challenges official webpage.
