Hello Anne,
From my days in academic libraries, I know they are used extensively for student/staff. You may like, for example, to check out the Kings College London Strand building Library. Afraid I no longer have a contact name, though.
Kind regards,
Fiona

Subject: [lis-e-resources] Stand up reference points
Hi all,
We in the House of Lords Library would like to obtain some stand up reference points for our users, which would display the catalogue, our e-resources etc. We wondered if anyone had any experience of obtaining these and are keen to find out how these have been implemented, which vendors/ software you used etc, whether your users like them etc.
Any assistance would be very much appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Anne
