I've found you can persuade SciVal to calculate a h-index for an 
institution by creating a 'research area' consisting of that 
institution's publications.  But as Stephen says, SciVal doesn't 
routinely offer the h-index as a metric for looking at institutions. 
It's probably easier to use Scopus.
