Maybe this is helpful:
- The Flemish Association for Industrial Archaeology ("Vlaamse Vereniging voor Industriƫle Archeologie") is interested in joining your project - contact [log in to unmask] They have published a number of issues of the Flemish-Dutch journal 'Erfgoed van Industrie en Techniek' (Heritage of Industry and Technology) devoted to industrial heritage, and recently they organized a joint conference on adaptive re-use of industrial buildings in the North of France and the South of Flanders (the border region of Lille-Roubaix-Tourcoing-Kortrijk-Ypres
- the occasion for this conference was the book (to which I collaborated) published in France on this topic, see:
http://www.conservare.be/bookshop/STKK/IA000001.htm - I have been teaching for years the topic at St.Lukes Scool of Architecture in Ghent
- I recently added an album to the Facebook-group 'Industrial Heritage Europe' on the power station of Zwevegem (Flanders) where works on adaptive re-use are now going on, see https://www.facebook.com/groups/151455077757/permalink/10152186311072758/?stream_ref=2
- There is also E-FAITH, the European Federation of Associations of Industrial and Technical Heritage, which is now organizing the 2015 European Industrial and Technical Heritage Year, setting up steering groups on specific topics. One they hope to establish is on adaptive re-use of industrial buildings, see: http://www.e-faith.org/home/?q=content/european-industrial-and-technical-heritage-year-2015 (click in the right column for details)
