Subject: Partner search - interpretation/re-use of heritage - Topic 2/3

We are looking for partners from eligible Heritage plus countries other than the UK to participate in a project primarily for 'understanding the meanings that cultural heritage holds for people and how they perceive, use and interpret it' but with some overalp into other parts of Topics 2 and 3.

We are a UK research team with many years experience in developing tools for engaging with, interpreting and telling stories about cultural heritage.

The focus of our proposed project is facilitating the capture, represenation and visualisation of multiple perspectives around cultural heritage and how this can inform decision-making for cultural artefacts such as paintings, scultptures, museum exhibits, or for historic sites and buildings.

We are looking for partners who would be interested in developing novel interfaces or visualisations, or with an interest in location-based mobile apps and interfaces, or who are cultural institutions interested in developing new ways to talk about artefacts, or with concerns about tourism vs. management of heritage, or purely with a focus on tourism around cultural places in cities.

We also welcome alternative suggestions around this theme.

Best regards,

Annika Wolff and Paul Mulholland
