Having completed tbss_sym FA analysis of 10 healthy subjects (actually specialized athletes) for L>R and R>L, the cluster report Voxels column (number of voxels in the cluster) of R>L appears to show an outlier, a value of 4799, which is about 10 times greater than the next highest Voxels column value.
However, given that the Voxels value represents the number of voxels in a cluster, the large number of voxels in this cluster suggests that this is not an anomaly; that it is not an outlier. This particular cluster's coordinate in MNI (mm) space is -28, -51, 18 (anterior thalamic radiation in the JHU-ICBM).
It should be mentioned that as expected, all of the x, y, and z coordinates of the cluster report output match the values in the tfce_corrp_tstat1 in fslview (0.95:1, 1-p-value).
Any feedback regarding whether this cluster constitutes an outlier or not would be much appreciated.
P.S. I checked the reliability of the R>L analysis twice (using different methods each time) and arrived at the same FA significance findings.
