We only support Centos/RedHat Enterprise Linux with out pre-built binaries (Ubuntu/Debian support is via Neurodebian), so the installer is actually correct in suggesting you build from source.
Having said that, Centos/RedHat Enterprise Linux is based on a (old) version of Fedora (6 == 13), so I have modified the FSL installer to allow installation on Fedora with suitable warnings that this is an unsupported configuration. I’ve done some limited testing of FSL on Fedora 17 and found that the FEEDS data set processes as expected, but to be able to use FSLView you need to install libpng-compat. You can do this with:
sudo yum install libpng-compat
(the installer will tell you this when it is run).
To install, run the fslinstaller.py script again and it should download the latest release and carry out the install.

It seems that the only option I have, according to the terminal, is to compile FSL from our source code, which I am totally clueless of. What can I do to solve this problem?
