Research Assistant for project: How do inter-organisational relations
affect employer engagement in welfare to work programmes in the UK and
Denmark?
Fixed term for 18 Months. To commence 1 November 2014 or soon thereafter
*
You will be involved with an ESRC-funded three-year research project
based in the Centre for Employment Relations Innovation and Change
(CERIC) at Leeds University Business School. The project focuses on
employer engagement in welfare to work/active labour market programmes
and will explore the inter-organisational relations between employers
and programme delivery organisations in the UK and Denmark. The project
is inter-disciplinary in nature, bridging the boundaries of
social/public policy and organisation studies.
This post offers an opportunity for an early career researcher to
develop skills across a range of research methods and to contribute to a
cutting edge area of research. The project is led by Dr Jo Ingold, with
whom you will work closely to collect and analyse data and write up
research publications.
You will have a PhD (or be close to obtaining one), or have equivalent
experience in a relevant discipline. Given the inter-disciplinary nature
of this project we are interested in applicants from the fields of
social/public policy, sociology, human resource management, employment
relations and organisation studies.
