I work for the Campaign for Social Science, and I’m writing to you about two services we’ve recently started that might benefit your university and researchers.
We now feature university events relating to social science on our website listings page:

This is a free service, and to take advantage of it, simply fill in an online form:
http://campaignforsocialscience.org.uk/submit-an-external-event/
and we’ll do the rest. The event must be one open to the public (it can be free or paid-entry) and should relate to social science as a whole or to any one of its disciplines (we take a broad view as to what this comprises).
The second service is our Media Experts database, which allows reporters to contact social scientists willing to give expert comment to the press. Any researcher within social science is eligible to feature on this – you can see it at: http://campaignforsocialscience.org.uk/media-experts/
Anyone wishing to be put on this should contact me for more information by email. The university at which the researcher works is displayed prominently on this database.
