To celebrate the 13th IDA Symposium (Leuven, Belgium, 30 Oct - 1 Nov, 2014), we will award the IDA Frontier Prize to the most visionary contribution. The prize consists of a plaque and a cheque for 1000 euros (sponsored by KNIME).
IDA 2014 focusses on intelligent data analysis for complex real-world problems. The symposium explicitly seeks 'first look' papers that might be considered preliminary elsewhere but contain potentially high impact research. To emphasize this, IDA 2014 will feature a new First Look Track that will allow researchers to present ground-breaking ideas even if they are not mature enough for publication.
The deadline for paper submission is 23 May 2014. See http://www.ida2014.org/call-for-papers for the call for papers.
All submitted papers are eligible to win the Frontier Prize. For more details, including details of previous winners, please visit www.ida2014.org/frontier-prize
