Co-located with the World Conference of Soft Computing (WConSC’14, Berkeley, California, United States,
on 25-27 May, 2014) in partnership with The Berkeley Initiative in Soft Computing.

Submission and review process:
Proposals will be reviewed by the workshop chairs and members of the organizing committee.
Authors are invited to submit papers of no more than eight (8) pages in IEEE style (see below)
including results, figures and references

Objective of Special Session:
To discuss a main research and industry challenges of implementation of soft computing in industry,
to understand how new emerging technologies such as SaaS, Cloud, Big Data will affect soft computing implementations for international enterprises (both large enterprises and SMEs). The issues of
implementation of soft computing for Industry 4.0 also will be discussed together
with invited speakers from Industry.

- Soft computing based on Cloud Computing.
- Using soft computing for life long services of complex products, using IT for long -life maintenance of high-value products, facility management.
- Soft computing for Process Management and ERP applications.
- Soft computing and cloud/in-memory computing.
- Integration of fuzzy systems and neural networks for industrial applications.
- Industrial data fuzzification and defuzzification. Human- computer interactions in Industy.
- Using soft computing in collaborate design and concurrent engineering.
- Distributed AI. An integration of multi-agent and soft computing systems.
- Information extraction.
- Applied soft computing frameworks, application methodologies.
- Evolutionary Computation, Neural Networks, Hybrid Architectures, Biologically
inspired approaches in Industry.
- Situational control and computational semiotics.
- Related areas of soft computing applications.
The workshop will include a presentations of researchers from academia and invited guests
from industry, it is also open discussion will take place to discuss workshop results.
