Hi Matt,
We're in the first stages of a funded project to digitise some 3D objects from our collections in conjunction with specialists at UCL. It's an experimental project to try new techniques for capturing objects with highly-reflective properties, so I don't know how suitable it is for a case study. You can read about it here http://postalheritage.wordpress.com/2014/03/12/3d-imaging-technologies/.
Best wishes,

Dear All,
I am looking to contact anyone who is currently working on a 3D digitisation project with a view to writing a case study to be used by and made available through Jisc Digital Media. Hope you can help.
Many thanks,
Matt
