Much of this would depend on how your LIS and HIS are configured. I would agree that the results need to be distinguishable from Laboratory results.

Hi could someone help. I am looking at entering results from a point of care FBC analyser; I understand that they have to be distinguishable from results from the Laboratory. But can you use the same test code and just have a highlighted comment saying that “analysed by POCT device”? I am just concerned that if you look at cumulative results they will not appear if you use a separate test code.
