Hi Caroline,
We have been using Nova StatStrip ketone meters in our paediatric wards for a few years now.
We have handheld meters though and not connectable ones, although this may change in the future when we roll out to adult wards.
I have to say we've had no problems with the hand held device and EQA returns are good.
Strips have a 3 month life span once a pot is opened so if usage is low then there could be potential wastage of expensive strips if not used within the 3 months.
Regards,
Lisa-Marie

Dear All,
We are currently evaluating the Nova StatStrip ketone machine. Does anyone have any good/bad experience to share for this device?
We would also be interested to know if anyone is using or aware of any other PoC ketone machines from other providers with are connectable.
Thanks in advance,
Caroline Addison
