Do you have or know of any research or contacts related to child refugee mental health? Stephanie Tam is conducting a systematic review on post-traumatic stress in child refugees in part fulfilment of her Master's programme in social policy and interventions at the University of Oxford. She is looking for published and unpublished research, reports, and data addressing the question: "What are the longitudinal risk and resilience factors and prevalence of post-traumatic stress in forcibly displaced children?"
All studies that meet the following criteria will be included:
. includes at least 1 year between pre- and post-test measurements
. assesses prevalence or analyses risk and resilience factors related to post traumatic stress
. participants consist of forcibly displaced (i.e., refugees, asylum-seekers, and internally displaced) children
Please contact her at [log in to unmask] if you can help or require any clarifications. She intends to publish her findings in a high impact journal and will gratefully acknowledge any contribution you make to her review; she would also be happy to share her research with you upon its completion.
