Dear all,

I thought subscribers might be interested to see that we've published the first student-authored Xerte content as part of our HEA-funded project at UoL, Making Digital History. You can see the first object, on transport and trade in medieval Lincoln here: http://bitly.com/1cpLwTv

More will be posted over the coming weeks/ months (/ years... there are over 60 in total!). The definitive list will be hosted here: http://bit.ly/1lNNUGO

If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch or just browse around our website: http://makingdigitalhistory.co.uk/.

Best regards
Jamie

Jamie

This is a great piece of work and please congratulate your students from us. Would you object if I shared the link to the list of learning objects that your students are creating on my Pinterest board? http://www.pinterest.com/penguinnotlob/xerte-links/

Once again thank you for sharing this. I do believe that student created work like this is so valuable and has the ability to show in depth understanding and knowledge of their subject.

Best wishes

Lisa

Likewise. I am a big fan of student generated content in teaching and learning: I really think the processes of group work and all that constructivist stuff, and the critical thinking involved in authoring materials provides good deep learning for the students.
