Hi
I’ve been alerted that the "Economics of Climate Change, Energy and Transport" unit at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC–Seville) plans to recruit transport modellers to contribute to their work on the economic analysis of the transport sector and the quantitative (model-based) analysis of transport policies at EU level; successful candidates are expected to contribute to European-wide research projects in the field of transport economics and engineering with a particular emphasis on quantitative policy analysis and collaborating with the relevant services of the European Commission.
The procedure for selecting candidates is via an open call for candidates for research positions (contract agent FGIV) at the European Commission?
http://ec.europa.eu/civil_service/docs/call_contract_agents/call_for_contract_agents_en.pdf
Candidates must apply through the EU CV online database as detailed in the link above. Amongst those in the database, the Commission will select (according to JRC specific job requests) a list of suitable candidates to be invited for competency interviews at the JRC.
More information is available at:

Best wishes
