As you suspected, this functionality (cluster correction for F-tests) seems only available in SPM12b (unless I missed it in SPM8??). I checked the maps and statistics tables, between the 2 versions, and they are identical.
Is there another way to determine cluster extent surviving multiple comparison (in my case FDR)?
