Deng,
> Does anyone know how to extract beta weights for a specific coordinate (for example MNI: x=-22;y=-10;z=52 or Talairach: x=-22;y=-16;z=49) in SPM8? I would appreciate it if you could reply to me.
if you call up the image you want to look at in spm, you can enter the
coordinate that interests you into the field below the image (note that
there are two fields, one for voxel and one for mm coordinates - if you
have negative values, your coordinates are in mm). If you supply these
coordinates and then hit enter, the value at this location will be
shown. If you want to do this for several images and/or locations, I
suggest you take a look at spm_select, spm_vol, and spm_read_vols (in
this order :)
Cheers,
Marko
PS: Looking at MNI coordinates will of course only work (meaningfully)
if you have images normalized to MNI space.
