Dear colleague,
This is a call for participation in a short online survey about sexuality in social work – we are seeking registered social workers in the UK to participate and we would be very grateful if you could take a few moments to take part. This research is seeking to better understand the ways that social workers understand and engage with sexuality. In particular, the ways that social workers engage with issues of sexuality and how they work with it in their practice. For the purpose of this project, the term 'Sexuality' is used as a broad reference to important aspects of people's sexual lives, including sexual identity, orientation, intimate and romantic relationships, sexual activity (or sex), sexual desires and pleasures, and sexual rights. The survey will be open until the end of March 2014.
This is a collaborative project undertaken by Bucks New University and Swansea University. If you would like to participate, you will need to complete the online questionnaire, which has a combination of open and scaled questions. The survey is completed anonymously, can be saved part way through and takes around 10 minutes to complete.
