‘Regulating Experimental Medicine during a Pandemic’

In association with CASMI and WHO as part of the NIHR UCL Hospitals Biomedical Research Centre/ UCL School of Life and Medical Sciences Academic Careers Office Experimental Medicine Conference Series.
The objectives of the conference are:
•To review and recommend revisions to the initial guidelines on research ethics in a pandemic published by WHO in 2009
•To bring together opinion leaders in politics, science, public health, pharmaceutics, regulators and bioethicists to discuss this issue
•To influence WHO on training material for researchers they are currently drafting based on this conference and on the resulting new guidelines.
