Pat, On a UK trip twenty or so years ago now, Her Maj was parading down the main street of Hawarden where we were staying. They shut the shops, I recall. Not before I scored a packet of what you guys call crisps (potato chips or just chips in Oz). As She came by, flags afluttering nearby, I extended my arm and offered Her a crisp. She declined. Too Gracious.
Ambulance should cart me, my comments and poems away, I guess.
