Alastair,
In view of your last comment, I would like to put my name forward. I have a fair grounding in ACL, and some knowledge of FE. I am also an ALT member.

UPDATE
I have just counted the offers of committee membership which came to me on and off the list and it comes to 10, which is really great. Thanks to all of those of you who have offered.
To clarify the membership requirement, it is in fact Officers, (chair, vice chair and secretary) who are formally required to be ALT members. However, ALT does some damn good work so it is only natural we encourage everyone to consider joining!
To be fair we should continue to accept offers until the original closing date of Wednesday and then get a meeting together swiftly to put a programme together.
(I will just say that FE, Adult Community Learning, Offender Learning, Work Based Learning are under represented at present!)
