Anne has given me permission to post details of the South West Occupational Health Nurses' Group 30th anniversary Conference which will be held on May 1st at Sandy Park Conference Centre, in Exeter. Sandy Park is the home of Exeter Chiefs rugby club and is just off junction 30 of the M5, with plenty of free parking. http://www.sandy-park.co.uk/
We have a great line up of speakers again this year, presenting on a broad mix of topics relevant to our practice. The programme is as follows:

Alan Tipping, Revalidation Liaison Manager from he NMC on revalidation and how it will affect Occupational Health Nurses
Anne Harriss Course Director Occupational Health Programmes, London South Bank University. Supporting a Student
Alison Presswell Senior OH Advisor and Director of Carlyon Bay Occupational Health, “Going it alone: setting up your own OH business"
Richard Frost Employment Specialist Team Lead, Devon Partnership NHS Trust, on supporting employees with more complex mental health conditions.
A copy of the programme and the application form can be found on the group's website http://www.southwestohngroup.co.uk/. The cost for the study day is £60 for group members and £85 for non members, and all are welcome to join the group to benefit from the reduced rate.
The closing date for applications is April 15th.
