Hi all
The South Gloucestershire Mines Research Group's public liability etc cover is due for renewal soon. Following advice from our insurance company’s "Liability Risk Consultant", we have been advised to produce a ”health and safety policy” related our members involved in archaeological field work. Can any other group help us by letting us see your H&S policy.
We are engaged in typical surface industrial archaeological field work, but we have one site where work is done underground at shallow depth in tunnels and cellars.
We also need to update our any risk assessments, so I am keen to see any done for similar circumstances (ie on the surface and underground), to compare with our own risk assessment.
We would treat any documents as confidential.
I suggest that replies are probably best direct to me at [log in to unmask] Attachments or website links would be great as well as any comments.
Thanks
Roger Gosling
