Hi, I use Mendeley. its free, online, easy to use, portable and has a "social
networking" bit that you can use to connect with other people interested in your
topics or reading the same papers (if you liek that sort fo thing)
I've also found the support is excellent, online tutorials good and when I have
shown students they have picked it up very quickly
