Good Morning
I am a midwife/teacher attached to a HEI and have been asked by a practice colleague to explore our current practices in relation to safeguarding children in the Postnatal period when working with families where safeguarding concerns exist. I am undertaking a review of the literature but also wonder if any of you out there are aware of any research relating to:-
1. Midwives routinely undressing all neonates where safeguarding concerns exist 2. Daily visiting for 5 or 7 days where safeguarding concerns exist and whether this reduces risk of abuse 3. Use of parenting observation charts/tools designed for use in the community setting.
Thank you in advance
