Dear Jamie
Having just read your email I thought you might be interested in the
results of the EC-funded ENUMERATE project. As part of this project
museums across Europe were asked to complete questionnaires about their
digital policies and work. The results of this extensive survey have
just been published. More information can be found at

Subject: Using Digital Technology in Heritage: Survey
Dear List Members
I'm working on a new research project at Leeds ("Experiencing the
Digital World", http://digitalheritage.leeds.ac.uk) which looks at the
role of digital technologies/spaces in engaging new museum audiences.
Together with colleagues I'll be reviewing the current scholarly
literature and also trying to get a snapshot from museums, galleries and
heritage organisations about how digital strategies are currently used
and/or perceived.
If you could find five minutes or so to complete this short online
survey - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3MCRXYR - then I would be
extremely grateful.
The more people who respond the clearer an idea we as researchers can
get about how different strategies are being used now and can be applied
in the future. If you could also share the survey with interested
colleagues that would be fantastic.
We are hoping to produce a short briefing document detailing our main
conclusions, and to have as much input as possible from professionals in
the museum/heritage sector would be fantastic.
With all best wishes
Jamie
