The 2014 ISIC conference will be held at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom from 2-5 September, 2014.

ISIC: the Information Behaviour Conference focuses on the relationship between the needs or requirements of the information user, the means for the satisfaction of those needs and the uses to which those means are put in practice by organisations or disciplines.
It attracts researchers from information science, information management, psychology, social psychology, sociology, information systems, computer science, and other disciplines, all of which contribute to the field of information behaviour and practice.
ISIC is a biennial conference. The last ISIC conference was held in 2012 in Keio University, Tokyo, Japan and the earlier conference in 2010 in the Universidad de Murcia, Spain.

The 2014 conference is being jointly organised by the University of Leeds Business School, University of Sheffield iSchool and the Department of Information Studies, University of Aberystwyth.
