Good morning.
My name is M. Cristina Fregni, associated architect at Politecnica soc. coop., Italy (http://politecnica.it/en/).
We are an independent consulting firms in the architecture & engineering services sector with a wide experience in cultural heritage preservation and valorization. In particular, I have a Ph.D. in landscape conservation and planning with a thesis titled “Waterways and identity of the territory”.
So, I think that we could very good work together and I’m very interesting in a research regarding relationships between landscape and water.
If you think that our collaboration is possible, please let me know.
Thanks in advance and best wishes.

> Hi - we are at Nottingham Trent University (UK) and are looking for partners for a water heritage project. From our side this would be related to the 'Moors for the Future', which is a partnership project looking into raising awareness of natural moorland resources and in particular the erosion of peat bogs causing contamination of water reservoirs. Is this something that you might be interested in? Alternatively, please give us some details of your proposed project and we can see if can contribute?

Dear all,
I'm the director of research group working on medieval hydraulic systems. We study the hydraulic devices and the irrigation structures in rural an urban settlements. We have a long experience on Islamic hydraulism and irrigation, specially in al-Andalus (spain). We've done also research in Yemen, and on hydraulic systems and irrigation in christian medieval society (Spain). The methodology followed implies doing a regressive research from current hydraulic systems where we do an exhaustive etnographic research. In order to identify the foundation chronology and all the changes suffered by those systems, we elaborate precise maps and we do a detailed work on written records.
ARcaheological resources are also used.
We are interested in participating in a broader project focussing on water issues. I would like also more details on your project.
Sincerely yours,
Helena Kirchner
